In Florida, there is a boy who is a fan of the Tennessee Volunteers. For those of you who may not understand the culture here in Knoxville, literally I have grown up in this town and hear, 'we bleed orange.' People have a heart when it comes to their VOLS. We have amazing athletics, and what is capturing the world is our heart.
This boy wanted to show his school spirit for the VOLS, and on the designated day, he wore an orange shirt and drew on paper this design. He attached the paper to the shirt and proudly went to school. A group of girls at lunch made fun of the boy, and he went to his teacher in tears. She reached out on digital media with his story, and not only is the shirt a formal design, the boy is receiving a scholarship to attend The University of Tennessee! How cool is that...amazing story.
May we all utilize our resources to do something that we hold dear in our hearts. This is what makes lasting impact for the human race, community, & world.
