The Science of Happiness: Dopamine & Endorphins

Exercise releases proteins & endorphins 
making the brain happier. Dopamine is a
neurotransmitter that regulates the brain’s
reward & pleasure center, movement, and
our emotional response. It is synthesized 
from Tyrosine, and this is found in poultry,
fish, milk, & bananas. 

Sleep correlates with our ability to retain 
positive vs. negative thoughts. In a study 
college students retained 81% of negative 
words and 31% of Positive words! 

The takeaway is eat lots of turkey and get 
enough sleep and exercise. Remember 
Serotonin is synthesized by Triptophan 
which is also found in Turkey!!!
