The Hippocampus is the area of the humanÂ
brain responsible for happiness & positiveÂ
memories. Daily I go outside and sit forÂ
at least 20 minutes. I can imagine this may
be funny to watch. I am not smoking, nor
on my phone. I simply bask in the sun. ThisÂ
is empirically proven to boost positive mood,
broaden thinking, and it improves workingÂ
memory by increasing serotonin in the brain.Â
This is a neurotransmitter that helps regulate learning, mood, sleep, sexuality, & appetite.Â
Not only do we benefit from a day outsideÂ
with an increase in serotonin,
it is also commonly found in Turkey!
So letâs eat Turkey and go outside todayđ forÂ
our mental health!
