Watching the World Cup has been
amazing... another game ending in
penalty kicks... almost sudden death....
Croatia won! Fans and players cheered,
crying tears of joy & grief depending on
which team they supported. In the end
they hugged one another, Croatia
consoling Denmark, the losing
team...all with class. This is true
sportsmanship, to be a classy winner
and take defeat with grace.
May we be reminded we belong to
one another as human beings. We all
know the human experience of winning
vs losing, succeeding vs failing. What
makes us a true winner is how we
handle it.
