Gaudi’s Happiness

Gaudi lived a life devoted to glorifying God
with his architecture building the Sagrada
Familia. Sadly he died tragically before he
completed this project. He found happiness
in glorifying God through his work. After
many of his friends died, he became
depressed and stopped caring for
himself. As he walked one evening, he was
hit by a tram and left to die as others
thought he was a poor homeless person.
Finally when he was taken to the hospital,
no one cared for him, giving him minimal
attention. Once he was recognized as the
famous artist, it was too late.... and all of
the city mourned.

He died tragically contributing immense
inspiration to the world.

This caused me to think about life, our
purpose and how we will be remembered.

Every life has meaning. We walk this Earth for
a short time, and then go onto eternity.

Gaudi shared : ‘Glory is light, light gives joy,
and joy is the happiness of the spirit’

Deep thoughts from a man who purposed
to bring glory to his maker.

My giftings are not as outwardly perceived
and may not be recognized by the world.

It is all for Him, my maker, who will recognize
my purpose, and contribution.

Gaudi...I am inspired to live in the light, glory,
and joy of God.... yes, this is happiness and
a deep thought.
